As Founder and General Partner at Sandalphon Capital, Jonathan Ellis is a B2B technology investor focusing on protech, insurtech and fintech companies primarily in the Midwest and other underserved markets. Mr. Ellis has backed almost 80 Pre-Seed, Seed and A Stage start ups as an angel investor and VC over the last 10 years.

Prior to founding Sandalphon, he spent 10 years with Macquarie, a global financial services organization, investing in sectors including technology, specialty finance and commercial real estate. He additionally serves on the Executive Committee with VentureNext and VentureSCALE, on the board of Chicago:Blend and Social Venture Partners and as a Mentor with TechStars and NAR REach.
