RoofMarketplace Challenges the Status Quo

Why Insurers Choose RoofMarketplace

We help insurers streamline roofing claims from bid to build—reducing cycle times, lowering claim severity, and improving policyholder satisfaction.

How It Works

RoofMarketplace simplifies the roofing claim process by matching claims with vetted contractors who submit real bids—fast. You get market-based pricing with built-in transparency, streamlined communication, and support through project completion.

Submit a Claim

Adjusters initiate the process by submitting a bid request through the platform or one of our integrations—no scoping or estimating required.

Receive and Review Bids

Vetted contractors submit competitive bids, typically within 24–48 hours. Policyholders review their options and select the contractor who will complete the work.

Work Begins. We See It Through

Our team remains involved after the bid is accepted, helping coordinate progress, resolve issues, and keep the project moving toward a clean, quick close.

What Insurers Are Saying

You ask, we answer

We work with carriers, large and small. If you have a question, it’s a safe bet that we have an answer for you.

Results are immediate. Because we remove the need for adjuster-written estimates and unnecessary supplements, carriers begin to see expense reduction and improved accuracy as soon as the first bids come in. Many of our partners see measurable ROI within days of go-live.

Onboarding is fast and lightweight. Adjusters can be trained and submitting bid requests within a day. For carriers, the integration process is flexible — we can start with a simple standalone workflow and scale to deeper system integrations over time.

No. Adjusters can request bids directly through our platform without creating an estimate first. We find this reduces LAE, reduces contractor negotiations, reduces disputes, and speeds up cycle time. If an estimate already exists, we can use it as reference, but it isn’t required.

We’re not a contractor directory or a managed repair program. Instead of limiting claims to a pre-assigned network, we get bids from multiple vetted local contractors ready to accept the job. Our contractors do not get the policyholder contact information until they win the job, eliminating constant follow-ups for your policyholders. This ensures true market pricing and homeowner choice, while we manage the process through completion. The result is better indemnity control for carriers and higher satisfaction for policyholders.

An estimate is typically a single contractor’s calculation of scope and price, often requiring negotiation and supplements. A bid is a firm offer from a contractor to complete the work for a set price. By working from competitive bids instead of estimates, we eliminate unnecessary supplements, reduce disputes, and give carriers confidence in the accuracy of the claim cost.

We support both. Whether it’s a full roof replacement or a slope repair, our process is designed to match claims with qualified contractors who can handle the right scope of work. Our Specified Slope repair program helps carriers contain severity by avoiding unnecessary full replacements, while still providing policyholders warrantied slope replacements.

We handle claims in over 30 states, and with our broad contractor base, we can expand into new markets for our new and expanding carrier partners.

We credential every contractor before they can participate. Requirements include minimum years in business, active licenses in good standing, manufacturer certifications, and recurring background checks on ownership. Contractors must also maintain insurance and meet performance standards to remain active in our marketplace.
